A friend of mine noticed this book in one of my vacation pictures and asked to let her know how it was. It was a terrific read! It is written entirely in letter form written to and from about twenty different characters which is a first for me and took a little getting used to but it was so worth it!

It takes place right after WWII so much of the topic was the German occupation of the isle of Guernsey which is in the English Channel.

Poignant but also laugh out loud funny, this book had a little bit of everything :) If you like historical fiction, you'll love this book!
