First game of the season was yesterday! Because of the storms last Thursday, practice was canceled so the boys were a bit nervous about not really knowing what to do. The rules are a bit different for flag football plus they still needed to learn how to deal with the flags.They had a really good time though and are looking forward to future practices and games :)
Brandon's team plays bright and early...8:45am to be exact. And as I posted before, this church isn't all that close to us! He did good though, grabbing a flag and stopping a player from getting a touchdown! (not in this picture. I was busy watching/cheering to snap a picture of that!)
Nicholas' team played right after Brandon's. Unfortunately this won't always be the case. Sometimes we will be hanging out there for an hour waiting for his team to play. That will stink.
Nicholas had the ball a few times. It was so fun to see him running it!
He even got to hike it!
I'm really loving these fall sports! It's really been a relaxing way to spend my Saturday mornings :)
