We chose Sunday to be our tree-decorating day. We have to schedule around six often conflicting schedules so when a very small window of opportunity opened, we took it! Kristen has finals this week which means she has lots of studying to do and a project to finish and turn in so I had planned to get the tree up and lights on by Sunday late-afternoon so we could get ornaments on it before she and Megan left for church that evening. You know what they say about the best-laid plans ;) Half the lights wouldn't work. By the time I bought more lights and got all 1050 lights on the tree (no exaggeration) we were running out of time. A reschedule was in order. Tuesday morning was the day!
So with Christmas music playing and mugs of hot chocolate (and coffee!), we finally got all the ornaments on that tree! Here are some of my favorite pictures from our morning:
