18 Years ago today I had a baby. She was so beautiful, sweet, and small. And I had NO IDEA what I was doing! But I learned and she grew.
Today, she turns 18. My baby is an adult. She could get an apartment and vote! She doesn't need a permission slip any more. She can give herself permission and make her own medical decisions if there's an accident. Sheesh. Recognizing all this really puts a certain perspective on this special day!
She is still so beautiful and sweet, but now so much more too!Kristen, you have grown into such a lovely young woman! And although I know it is the result of your love for Christ and His work in you, I'm still so proud of you! You have a very bright future and you are now on the verge! A very exciting time! Know that you are loved more than you can possibly imagine and that you are blessed immensely. Happy 18th Birthday!
