Gifts Fit for a Princess

Megan actually was pretty patient about the presents. Oh, she was very excited, but she knew she couldn't open any until after we ate lunch and she didn't push at all about that. She was so very sweetly excited about ALL the birthday traditions: cake, choosing lunch (pizza!), being fussed over all day long. She loved every minute of her day! But, I have to say, this girl did enjoy her gifts ;)

Where is it??
My friend, Jenny, had one of these little sandbox toys that I saw a couple of years ago. Then I thought, "How cute!" but I wasn't brave enough to bring something with sand into the house. Now, however, I've realized my house is a mess anyway, what's a little sand going to hurt? ;)
She loved it!

So did Nicholas!
They played fairly nicely together for quite a while ;)

When Grandma Diana came over she brought some gifts too:
Yes, that's a tiger! That you ride! Oh, it was a hit :)
She even graciously hopped off to give her brothers a turn...for a second ;)
The tiger, which we named "Who-Dey" as in the Bengal battle cry, is right now standing by her bed as she sleeps :)

This little princess had a good day :)
